This ongoing project is a research/study/excavation idea that puts the memory of objects and the indigenous mind at the centre of historical contexts conveyed in the language of sovereigns, and seeks answers to questions such as ‘why what we can see by looking at matter and what we can hear is not in the archive?’
This project where some archaeological methodologies were used can be read as an oral narrative of the women-nature culture in Mesopotamia, historical wisdom and transfer of this to daily storytelling. Whichever one chooses, what is undeniable is that these stories have been narrated orally throughout history and are still alive today, and that these stories need to be archived.
Since the written archive of Mesopotamian culture is not comprehensive enough, this project intends to transform some culture-nature, women-nature relationships and rituals into a written and audio archive through interviews.
